Letter to Riley

Dear Riley,
I'm glad you are enjoying your adventures here in Germany. It is so much fun to look into your eyes as we learn new things together and visit new places. I'm so proud of you, and how you are showing me how to use the Trams. I love that you can tell me what number tram to get on, when I tell you where I want to go in Dresden. You have been a big help when we travel on them. And, when we grocery shop! And I have to take 5 minutes before I put anything in my cart, after I try to read what I want to get, then try to read all the ingredients since I have my food allergies. I will miss you on Wednesday when you go to school, but I can't wait to volunteer in your classroom and bring you and pick you up from school each day. I can't wait to hear about all your adventures, and hoping you can teach me some German!

    Thank You Mom! I hope you like Dresden/Germany. I can not what for the first Day of School which is tomorrow. I will write how it was when I get home tomorrow.

Going to the Waterpark

Ok, so it was when my Dad came back from Germany. We wanted to celebrate so we went to the Six Flags Great Escape Splash Water Kingdom. So we went to drive there we had to drop off my dog at my Grandmother and Grandfather's house. And then, we went to exit 20 to enter the waterpark. We entered and checked in. Our room wasn't ready so we went shopping for bags and suitcases so when we go to Germany we will have the bags and suitcases. Me and my sister hated the shopping because it took like 2 hours but it felt like 10 hours. When we got our room we un-packed everything and changed into our bathing suites. The waterpark was so fun at first. First, I went to warm-up in the warm-up pool. Next I went into the this group slide. It can go up to 4 people. My Dad and I didn't want to go on it, because that line took so long. We moved into the other line where in takes 2 slides and 2 people at a time. What Christmas Means to Me and Christmas Day...

Today was one of the best days in 2010 for me, so this is how I will discribe it: I woke up this morning, and then woke up my sister Maggie, in her bed on the bottom bunk. I whispered "Maggie, it's Christmas". She opened her eyes and said "What"? I said " It's Christmas!" In a half whispering and half talking out loud voice. She ran out of bed, and dashed to the living room. I did the samething right behind her. When she saw the living room full of presents, she ohhed, and ahhhhhhed. I said "Go wake up sleppy head Mom and Sleppy head Dad, Hurry!" Maggie dashed back out of the living room, and into Mom and Dad's room. I heard her say " Come on, get up you 2, it's Christmas morning!" Maggie came back into the living room, andturned on the light.
