Italy, Here We Come!

2 weeks from now, we are going to Italy. We will also stop to 3 other places on the way . SO we will have 5 hotels in one week. That means we can go up a million elevators. My Mom always had wanted to go there. We are leaving on her birthday. That's how I felt when we drove back from Berlin.

Writing a Letter to The Principal

Some days ago, the teachers had said "Shut Up" to my class. Yesterday I made a letter to my principal saying that that word is a bad word and none of the teachers at Dresden International School/Annen Campus should not say that. I am going to give it to her today. Comment if you think that teachers should say that, or if you don't.

Maggie's First Violin Music Lesson

Maggie had her first violin lesson today. It's part of the school. She has them every Thursday. She did really good. I was looking at my school planner the whole time but I looked and saw she did a good job. We did a crossword puzzle, me and mom, while we were waiting.

Tram Notes (Issue 2 Season 1)

The DVB(Dresdner Verkehrsbetriebe AG) tram driver will always ring this loud bell when another veichcle is on or between the tracks. When they are in between the two stops, the tram will autimatilly will say"Nathe Haltischelle__________platz or stasse. The driver has a ton of bottons and the trams make a neat sound. They made the tram make a different sound then cars because the car would know there is a tram in back of them.

Going to a Music Place with GlobalFouries Friends

9/10/10, we went to this music place where they had Soft Rock last night. Me and Maggie where playing games like tag and hide and go seek with some of the other kids that came and Mom and Dad where talking with other adults. We were on the tram for a long time until we came. We kept doing that stuff until Maggie got tired and I got sleppy, a headace of the loud music, and getting sick. We then waited 8 minutes for the tram and got off and took th ethe 6 home. We ended waiting 20 MINUTES for the 6! We saw another lady running to a tram and she was to late so she ended up waiting 15 minutes when we still had 5 minutes. We got on the 6 and I almost fell asleep on the tram. We got home and went to bed.

Back to School - Germany Style By Stacey Walz at Woman Around Town

Tram Notes (Issue 1 Season 1)

A DVB tram driver always is a reg. Man or Woman. They have they eyes looking for stop lights, their feet always stepping on breaks and pedals. Every time they come to a stop, they need to press the open door button, right away. When they need to turn, they have the buttons "Left" and "Right" or "Left arrow" or "Right arrow" depending if the tram is older or newer. The trams get their power from a big thing on top hooked up to a wire on the top of the tram. When a tram and another tram pass each other, they will ring a bell or do this weird hand-motion thing with their hands.

Going to the Shillergarten with GlobalFounries Friends

9/3/2010 we went to the Shillergarten with a bunch of other people from GlobalFouries. First, like what we always do, go up to the stand and order our food.Me and Maggie got sausage and bread, Dad got just poatos, and we got Mom a good cooked one out another stand. Maggie and me got Apfel Shole and Dad got his beer and Mom brought her beer. We had played on the playgrond there which was nice. Then, I was looking for Ice Cream. The Ice cream stand was closed, the one's in the stand must of have run out, so I went in the resturant building and they had cake. I bought myself a slice. Dad had big blobs of it and Maggie then ate the whole rest of it! Then we went home.
