Riley's Adventures

Right now, we are in the car heading home from our 3 night stay at a town called Hull in Mass. It has a beach there, called "Nantasket Beach". Our hotel is located right across the street from the beach. It was a nice vacation.

We are having a great time in Vermont now. Yesterday, we went to Burlington, and walked down Church St. Marketplace. We had Flatbread (Can't tell the difference between that and pizza. The waitress called it flatbread when we ordered and said our pizza was ready when she served us), which was good. The pictures below are Toga Like a little boy, and the view of Lake Champlain from our cabin.

Today, we are going to camp in the Adirondacks with our best friends, "The LaGoys"! Well we are not really camping, but are in a cabin. I think we are even going fishing! I am really excited. And on Monday, we have no school because its, "Columbus Day". So thats why we are camping on a Sunday night. The last time we went camping with the LaGoy's, we were suppose to camp 2 nights, but the first night, it was pooring rain. This was during the summer. But this time, we get to camp 3 nights in a row! Me and My Best Friend Cade at Soccer (BARC)

Our last vacation is taking a RV down to Holland and  Belgium . It is sad. We are eating dinner in the camper station restaurant. The camp stop is called "Camping Zeeberg Amsterdam". Its very nice. It has camper charging station, and free internet, but the worst is the bathrooms. They have bugs on the lights, and it looks like they clean it once every year. The cleaners must be VERY lazy. The trams in Amsterdam are nice, very blue, and instead of ticket machines, they have ticket PEOPLE! It was funny! The RV is nice, but not the best. It has some scratches some places. The bathroom stinks, and your not thinking about that, will you know what I mean. Its all the plastic, and when we are driving, you hear everything crash and fall. And then when you stop the RV, and you go in the bathroom, all of the stuff has been fallen on the floor because of Dad always breaking. Today, we saw the Neuwalstein Castle. It was super cool. We hiked 2-way, up and down (Much easier going down). We borught Toga even. Anyway, Toga lost his favorite stuffed animal in the previous city we went in, yesterday. We leave tomorrow (SUnday), and I leave on a 3 day field trip with my class on Monday, to a near by place from where I am right now. I have to go, so sorry! Hope you enjoyed this post!

Today, we traveled to Vienna. We were on the train for 6 hours, and had our own little space. We went though Prague, Germany, and Austria.  It was sort of fun. The train had outlets on it going up to 230 Volts. I went on my laptop, but they were no Internet Connections. There were some on the train, but they had passwords.  I wrote in my journal.  When I got onto a Vienna regular tram going to our hotel, which was line 62, were like Dresden old trams. We got off at Pauler Strasse, then were standing there, looking at the map, then 10 minutes later, Mom saw a sign leading to the street to the hotel.  We were lucky!  We went out to Starbucks, are had Hot Chocolate. I had a Cookie, Maggie had a Blueberry Muffin.  I wanted Mom to get a snack besides hot chocolate, but she refused.  We went sight seeing on a Tram, the good kind of tram, and Mom saw some Ice Skating Place, and she said we were going to go there tomorrow!  I fall down when I Ic...

Fro m 10/22/10 to 10/20/10 we where in Italy. From Dresden, Germany to Innsbruck, Austria was the 1st trip. Innsbruck was awesome becasue the hotel was great, the alps were beatiful, you could see them from our hotel room window and the trams were neat. When we got there, we dropped Mom off at the hotel entrance and then Dad, Maggie, and Me drove to the parking lot, a few ways away. The parking lot had an elevator, for the cars, it was so small in there. It took us 15 minutes to take the elevator and park the car. We walked back to the hotel and meet Mom in the doorway, we all checked in together, and then took the person elevator with all our suitcases to floor 2, where our room was. We put the card in the door and opened the door. We were all pressing light switches, but the lights did not turn on. After 2 minutes, Dad figured out that you had to put the hotel card in a little holder thing, and all the lights turned on. When I saw the room with light, it looked very nice. Me and Magg...

Dear Malta Ave Students, I am glad to be Skyping you soon! It is a crazy time difference here, but it will still work. I hope you are having a good week of school. I will be back in July 2010. I woke up and it was 6 in the morning. It was thundering and all the lights were on. I went in the kitchen and Dad was making coffee. He said “ Do you want breakfast?” I said “Sure”. He made me cereal. And then Maggie came in and Dad made her breakfast, too. Then I said “Wait, We’re going to Prague today!” (Prague is one of the top 10 cities in the world!) We started to pack and got in our car and went to Prague. Dad got some money at the back, stopped at the Groccrie Store and got some drinks for the ride, and got some gas for the car, and then started to our ride to our hotel we we’re going to go to. Dad said we couldn't check in to the hotel until 2:00, so we went to the huge mall I’ve every seen! We had lunch there. I had a Fish Stick sandwich and Maggie had the samething. Dad had a shrimp sandwich. Mom had this big bowl of everything. We went to the hotel and checked in. We put our cloths away. We went took a walk and went up a lot of stairs to get to a castle. A ton of trams... Will yesterday, we wanted to go on a hike on one of the trails in Dresden. We got on a tram and went to a stop and started walking on a trail. Maggie wanted to stop at a playground so we stopped at one and played there for like 10 minutes. We walked back to another tram stop and saw that train #1 Phrolis and #2 this very long one stop there. We knew that it didn't go to our house. But we saw that it went to a stop that a another trm that goes to our house stops there. So we get on #1 Prolis and wait and wait and wait. The tram gets to it's end stop and turns into 1 Lutawisz. We stay on that one and Mom says that one will go to a stop that goes to our house. It gets to that stop, we had to cross a ton of streets and got on th e tram that went to our house. We get home and had crazy day. Lost key... We went to the pool and Mom lost her locker key to our locker where all our stuff was in. She told the life guard and apparently some one found in. We went tubing yesterday and it was awesome! We went because my Dad's Job. Globalfornries (I still don't know how to spell it just to let you know!) So we get there, we sign it we get our tubes. This place was odd 'cause they pull you up by the hill with the machine they had. They hook the tubes on this hook hooked on the this rope Which ed pulled you up. Me and My sister, Maggie waved to each other.  After we all were up there, so this is the funny part, The guy that let the tubes off, he pulled mom right off so Mom did a roll about 2 times. We went at a family and we hit a few bumps.  Mom was at like every amusement park or water park, etc, would always scream. We got at the bottom. Maggie did not want to get off the tube.  Daddy pulled the rope and Maggie hit the ground by her face.  Everyone laughed. She did too.  I ran to the puller upper thing.  and everyone else,,, just walked.  So I got to the puller upper thing and it pulled me up.  I wen...

Ok, so it was when my Dad came back from Germany. We wanted to celebrate so we went to the Six Flags Great Escape Splash Water Kingdom. So we went to drive there we had to drop off my dog at my Grandmother and Grandfather's house. And then, we went to exit 20 to enter the waterpark. We entered and checked in. Our room wasn't ready so we went shopping for bags and suitcases so when we go to Germany we will have the bags and suitcases. Me and my sister hated the shopping because it took like 2 hours but it felt like 10 hours. When we got our room we un-packed everything and changed into our bathing suites. The waterpark was so fun at first. First, I went to warm-up in the warm-up pool. Next I went into the this group slide. It can go up to 4 people. My Dad and I didn't want to go on it, because that line took so long. We moved into the other line where in takes 2 slides and 2 people at a time. While we were waiting in line me and my Dad saw my little sister and my Mom go down...
